GRIZZLY CAMPS - ALASKA - SUMMER 2027

The Way Alaska is Meant To Be ExperienceD.

Most people see Alaska bears from a boardwalk

This is far from that…

This is a remote, fly-in wilderness camp on a coastline few people will ever stand on. No platforms. No crowds. No fences between you and the wild…

Just expert guides, a bush plane, a tent and mother nature’s apex creatures.

5 DAYS - 4 NIGHTS
8 GUESTS + 2 GUIDES

AN EXPERIENCE UNLIKE
ANYWHERE ELSE ON PLANET EARTH

THE DENSEST BEAR HABITAT ON EARTH

This stretch of coast holds some of the densest brown bear habitat on Earth — and almost nobody on it. We go where the bears actually live, not the one waterfall everyone else photographs. You'll see mothers, cubs, and giant males behaving naturally, because over the course of a few days we will have settled into their backyard.

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN ONE OF THE MOST VIBRANT ECOSYSTEMS ON THE PLANET.

THERE IS SIMPLY NO WHERE ELSE ON THE PLANET WHERE YOU CAN GET THIS LEVEL OF CONSISTENT ENCOUNTERS. IT IS TRULY THE LAST FRONTIER AND THE MOST EPIC BUCKET LIST ITEMS YOU CAN CROSS OFF.

HIGHLIGHTS:

What You’re SIGNING UP FOR:

Bush Plane In & OUT

(no roads — this is the only way in) Private flights over glaciers, volcanoes, and a coastline most people only see in a documentary. The flight alone is worth the trip.

Bears on Foot, at Eye Level

On the ground, on the bears' terms, with your vetted guides calling every move. Mothers and cubs, sub-adults throwing down, big males working the flats — close, wild, and uncrowded. The shots you can't get from behind a railing.

Off-Grid Camp, Done Right

Fully outfitted camp inside wildlife-safe electric fencing. Hot meals, hot drinks, real field instruction, zero cell signal. Comfortable enough to sleep. Wild enough to remember.

COMMON QUESTIONS

  • Yes. Your guides are trained in backcountry safety and bear behavior. Camp's built and fenced before you land. Calm, experienced leadership turns bear country into the best week of your year, not a risk.

  • No, but any additional time you’ve spent in the wilderness or near big animals is always helpful. You will be with your guides 100% of the trip who are trained professionals in how to read and handle these specific bears.

  • There are no international direct flights into Homer, Alaska where our journey begins. We suggest flying into Anchorage, Alaska (ANC) and from there transferring to Homer (HOM).

Arrival Day: We will arrange for our team to corral those arriving at the Homer Airport and bring you to our accommodation to settle in! But, if you're eager and arriving into Homer on an earlier day please aim to arrive at our Homer accommodation anytime between 3–6 pm to get acquainted before we officially kick-off our trip at 6:30pm.

Departure Day: We will take the bush plane from Hallo Bay back to Homer for travelers departure flights although timing of our arrival back to Homer is dependent on the weather conditions. Please do not book your departure flight out any earlier than 3pm, but highly recommend the latest flight out that day OR even more so recommend finding local accommodation and staying the night in Homer. You can relax, grab a hot shower and enjoy one last night out with your new best friends. A buffer of an extra night is ALWAYS a good idea with unpredictable weather conditions.

  • To get the most out of every outing and stay comfortable throughout your time in camp, you'll need your own pair of chest waders (either purchased or rented*). Since you'll be spending long days walking and exploring in them, having a properly fitted pair makes a big difference in both comfort and mobility.

We've included a link to affordable options that provide a good fit for both your body and feet.
