This website is operated by Grizzly Camps S Corp. Throughout the site, the terms “Grizzly Camps,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Grizzly Camps S Corp.

Grizzly Camps offers this website, including all information, tools, products, trips, expeditions, camps, merchandise, and services available from this site (collectively, the “Services”) to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated herein.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing a product, reserving a trip, joining a camp, or participating in any experience offered by Grizzly Camps, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), including all policies referenced herein.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or use our Services.

Our online store may be hosted through Shopify or other third-party commerce platforms that enable us to sell products and services to you.

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

1.1 Trips, Camps & Experiences

Grizzly Camps curates, organizes, and hosts outdoor adventures, wilderness expeditions, wildlife experiences, educational camps, retreats, and guided travel experiences (collectively, “Trips”) in partnership with guides, outfitters, lodges, transportation providers, and other third-party operators.

1.2 Products & Merchandise

Grizzly Camps may sell apparel, outdoor gear, accessories, educational materials, and other physical products ("Products") through our online store.

1.3 Additional Policies

These Terms incorporate and are supplemented by:

  • Trip-specific Guest Information Packages

  • Booking confirmations and payment agreements

  • Shipping and Returns Policies

  • Privacy Policy

  • Liability Waivers

  • Any policies referenced elsewhere on the website

If a conflict exists between these Terms and partner-specific requirements, the stricter requirements may govern the applicable portion of your Trip.

2. ELIGIBILITY & ONLINE STORE TERMS

2.1 Age Requirement

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

  • You have authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of any minor participant included in your reservation.

2.2 Lawful Use

You may not use the Services for any unlawful purpose or violate any applicable laws while using the website, Products, or Trips.

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to our Services.

3. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Compliance

You agree to comply with:

  • Applicable laws and regulations

  • Instructions from Grizzly Camps staff

  • Instructions from guides, operators, captains, pilots, drivers, and lodge staff

  • Guest Information Packages and pre-trip communications

3.2 Travel Requirements

You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining:

  • Valid passports

  • Visas

  • Entry requirements

  • Vaccinations

  • Medical clearances

  • Activity certifications where required

No refunds will be provided if participation becomes impossible because required documentation is missing.

4. WEBSITE CONTENT & MODIFICATIONS

All information provided through our website is for informational purposes only.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information but do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, or current.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update any content, service, trip, itinerary, pricing, or offering without prior notice.

5. PRODUCTS & SERVICES

5.1 Availability

Certain Products or Trips may be available only in limited quantities.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities

  • Restrict purchases

  • Refuse orders

  • Cancel bookings

at our sole discretion.

5.2 Product Descriptions

We attempt to display products accurately but cannot guarantee color accuracy across all devices.

6. BILLING & ACCOUNT INFORMATION

You agree to provide accurate billing and contact information for all purchases and reservations.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if fraud, misuse, pricing errors, or inventory issues are suspected.

PART A – TRIPS & EXPEDITIONS

7. TRIP PRICING & PAYMENT

7.1 Pricing

Trip pricing is listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change prior to booking confirmation.

7.2 Non-Refundable Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot.

Unless otherwise stated, the standard deposit is 25% of the total trip cost.

Your reservation is not confirmed until:

  • Deposit is received

  • Written confirmation is issued by Grizzly Camps

7.3 Payment Plans

Grizzly Camps may offer:

  • Installment Plans

  • 50/50 Payment Plans

  • Payment in Full

  • Shop Pay Installments

All payment schedules must be followed according to the booking agreement.

7.4 Final Payment

Remaining balances are generally due no later than 90 days before departure unless otherwise specified.

Reservations made within 90 days of departure may require payment in full.

7.5 Taxes

Applicable state and local taxes may be collected where required by law.

Guests are responsible for any taxes, customs fees, duties, or governmental charges imposed by their jurisdiction.

8. GUEST CANCELLATIONS

8.1 Cancellation Procedure

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to:

Cancellation is effective only when acknowledged in writing.

8.2 Cancellation Schedule

90+ Days Before Departure

  • Deposit remains non-refundable.

  • Remaining payments may be refunded less administrative and processing fees.

61–89 Days Before Departure

  • Up to 50% of total trip cost may be retained.

60 Days or Less Before Departure

  • Trip payments become non-refundable.

Grizzly Camps may, but is not obligated to, provide future trip credits.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

Grizzly Camps shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or disruptions resulting from:

  • Weather

  • Wildfire

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemics

  • Government restrictions

  • Transportation interruptions

  • Political instability

  • Partner default

  • Any circumstance beyond our reasonable control

Guests are expected to maintain adequate travel insurance to protect against these risks.

10. REQUIRED TRAVEL INSURANCE

Mandatory Insurance

All guests must maintain active travel insurance including:

Medical & Evacuation Coverage

Minimum USD $200,000 coverage including:

  • Emergency medical treatment

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Repatriation

  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Trip Protection

Coverage for:

  • Trip delays

  • Missed connections

  • Rebooking expenses

  • Trip interruption

Proof of insurance may be required no later than six weeks before departure.

Failure to provide proof may result in denial of participation without refund.

11. GUEST CONDUCT

Grizzly Camps reserves the right to remove any participant without refund for behavior that is:

  • Dangerous

  • Illegal

  • Harassing

  • Abusive

  • Disruptive

  • Unsafe

Participants removed from a trip remain responsible for all resulting costs.

Wildlife Sightings

Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

No refunds or credits will be issued due to non-sightings of any species.

12. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

You acknowledge that participation in Trips may involve:

  • Remote locations

  • Wildlife encounters

  • Water activities

  • Aviation travel

  • Hiking

  • Camping

  • Boating

  • Physical exertion

  • Severe weather

  • Delayed medical access

You voluntarily assume all associated risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Grizzly Camps S Corp., its owners, officers, contractors, employees, guides, affiliates, partners, and suppliers from claims arising from participation in Trips except where prohibited by law.

PART B – PRODUCTS

13. PRODUCT ORDERS

Products may be produced in limited quantities.

Availability is not guaranteed.

14. SHIPPING

Shipping times are estimates only.

Grizzly Camps is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, weather disruptions, or other factors beyond our control.

15. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Unless otherwise stated:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

We do not accept returns due to:

  • Change of mind

  • Sizing issues

  • Preference changes

Damaged items must be reported within three (3) days of delivery.

16. STORE CREDIT

Store credits:

  • Have no cash value

  • May not be transferable

  • May be subject to expiration dates

PART C – MEDIA, PRIVACY & LEGAL TERMS

17. PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE

By participating in any Grizzly Camps Trip, camp, event, or activity, you grant Grizzly Camps permission to:

  • Photograph you

  • Film you

  • Record your voice

  • Use your likeness

for marketing, educational, promotional, documentary, fundraising, advertising, website, social media, and future business purposes.

No compensation shall be owed for such use.

18. USER CONTENT

Any content voluntarily submitted to Grizzly Camps may be used, reproduced, modified, and distributed without compensation.

19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We are not responsible for third-party websites, software, booking systems, payment processors, transportation providers, guides, or partner operators.

20. PRIVACY

Your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

21. PROHIBITED USES

Users may not:

  • Violate laws

  • Harass others

  • Upload malicious code

  • Scrape data

  • Misrepresent information

  • Infringe intellectual property rights

Violations may result in immediate termination of Services.

22. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Grizzly Camps website remains the property of Grizzly Camps S Corp. unless otherwise stated.

No content may be reproduced without written permission.

23. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grizzly Camps S Corp., its owners, affiliates, contractors, guides, employees, and partners from claims arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Your unlawful conduct

  • Your negligent actions

  • Your misuse of Services

24. DISCLAIMER & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Grizzly Camps' maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Trip or Product giving rise to the claim.

Grizzly Camps shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, consequential, or special damages.

25. ERRORS & OMISSIONS

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, omissions, pricing mistakes, and booking mistakes at any time.

26. TERMINATION

We may terminate your access to Services at any time if these Terms are violated.

27. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

28. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Alaska.

29. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, all remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

30. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Grizzly Camps regarding use of the Services.

Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
